Habits of Faith

Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your minds, so that you may discern what is the will of God--what is good and acceptable and perfect. Romans 12.2

In confessing to be a Christian, a person is also expressing the conviction that Christ does make a real difference in his or her life. It becomes our heart's desire, therefore, to grow in our relationship with Christ with the hope and expectation that our life will be changed for the better and that personally we will become stronger Christians and publicly we will become more effective witnesses to Christ. In order to achieve this kind of growth, it is important to provide a tangible vision of how it can be accomplished and practiced in our life. As a helpful guideline for encouraging this kind of intentional spiritual growth and practice of the Christian faith we can identify six Habits of Faith which can be summarized in the phrase: "Each day PRAY and SCRIPTURE READ, WORSHIP, GROW, SHARE, and LEAD.
