I have taken two approaches to posting on the web my pictures of this
trip:
- Webshots.com: If
you use this link, you will be able to see all the pictures I took. The
pictures load fairly quickly and you can choose to view them in slide show
format and in a variety of sizes. Regardless of the size you choose to view
the pictures, you can right click on any of them and choose the "Save
Picture As" (for Internet Explorer users) or "Save Image As"
(for Netscape Navigator users) option, save the image to your computer and
then display, use in slide shows, or print out the picture as you choose. I
hereby give permission to anyone on the CGE trip to use these pictures. BTW,
their is a guestbook connected with these pictures you can use to let
everyone know you visited the site. There are a few albums, and most of the
pictures are posted in chronological order of our trip.
- Ofoto.com:
If you use this link, you will be able to see many of the pictures I took.
The drawback of this site is that you have to sign in and the pictures are
displayed in lower resolution. The benefit of this site is that the pictures
load a bit more quickly, you can view them as a slide show, AND it is possible
to order high resolution photographic prints.

Here is an edited
version of the journal I kept on our trip. I cannot guarantee the accuracy
of all the facts and numbers, but they are as good as it gets from the notes I
took on my little PalmIII. (Also note that I am posting this journal for my
family and church, so excuse some of the personal asides.)
